The Book of Isaiah (Hebrew: ספר ישעיה‎, “Sefer Yeshayahu”) is the first of the Latter Prophets in the Hebrew Bible and the first of the Major Prophets in English Bibles. The oldest surviving manuscripts of Isaiah are two scrolls found among the Dead Sea Scrolls; dating from about 150 to 100 BCE.

Isaiah Chapter 6

Experience of God’s glory, changes our life forever

• Isaiah 6:1-4 : Isaiah sees glorious vision of God: Seraphim praise God as Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty, the whole earth is full of his glory (Vs 3)
• Isaiah 6:5-7 : Isaiah recognizes his uncleanness: “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips (Vs 5); God atones for his sin through his Grace
• Isaiah 6:8-13 : Isaiah commits to carry The Lord’s message: “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”-And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” (Vs 8); God announces his judgment and proclaims hope
